We're a small team of former list-scribblers and cart-wranglers who got tired of circling back for forgotten onions. ChiRoute 2 Check Food started as a weekend fix for our own kitchens and grew into a tool built for anyone who'd rather spend their energy cooking than backtracking through aisle nine.
Our mission is simple: turn grocery runs from a guessing game into a plan you can trust. We believe preparation shouldn't feel like a chore, and that a few minutes of smart sorting before you leave the house can save you twenty once you're inside the store.

ChiRoute 2 Check Food was built on one rule: your grocery life is your business, not ours. This policy explains — plainly — what that means in practice.
We collect nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no names, no email addresses, and no location tracking. Every list, checked-off item, converted recipe, and calculated bag split is created and kept entirely on your own device.
Because nothing is collected, nothing is used, analyzed, profiled, or sold. There is no server-side processing of your shopping habits. Aisle sequencing, quantity adjustments, loyalty token references, and bag-weight balancing all run entirely on-device, without ever phoning home.
All app data — your lists, store-layout preferences, recipe conversions, and saved loyalty references — is stored locally in the app's private storage on your device. There is no cloud sync, no remote database, and no backup server operated by us.
We do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs of any kind. Your usage of the app is never shared with, or visible to, any outside party.
Because your information never leaves your device, there is no transmission to intercept and no remote database to breach. Your data's security is, in effect, your device's security.
We do not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data collection occurs at all, the app is compliant with COPPA by design.
You are always in full control of your data. There are no accounts to manage and no cloud backups to delete elsewhere — removing the app from your device removes all associated data completely and permanently.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect new features or clarify existing practices. Any changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Our core commitment — no data collection, ever — will not change.
